Sorry when I said 'monthly value' I meant 'yearly' :)

It's difficult to remember how many you need of each item per month if you cannot record it on a shopping list.
It's also convenient to transfer a shopping list complete with qualities to your basket, where you can then make any tweaks you need due to consumption variations
This is most important on high value orders (eg people like me who make monthly orders) so my supermarket is probably currently losing out on a significant proportion of the high value orders market.
I for one would make all my monthly orders through Mysupermarket if this facility was added. Monthly value in my case would be about £3000. As it is I mainly use ASDA, and sometimes split the ASDA order using Mysupermarket.
Best wishes

Hey Mouse, thanks for the ideas! We'll definitely pass them forward and see what we can do in future.
We'd also love to have you on board for future feedback about mySupermarket- have you tried using our new app mySuperList? It would be great to know your thoughts and ideas regarding this!
Thanks again!
Unfortunately this does not seem to run on my PC. I have downloaded and installed Itunes (64bit) and used Itunes to download MySuperList, it said it was installing and asked for my authorisation. Then nothging further happended. I have tried double clicking on the icon in Itunes ~ Apps, no response, no error message.

We think that it is possible to do what you are asking on mySupermarket already!
When you checkout a shop (send it to the store of your choice), your order is automatically saved (with quantities) under "MyFavs" > "MyOrders". Orders are saved by the date you shopped, but you can add them all to your basket again with one click. Then, if you need to tweak anything before you checkout, you can!
Alternatively, you could build your basket and save it as a list. You can do this by going to "my Basket" and then select options. When you save a basket as a list you can rename (for example, June shop 1) your list and it will be stored for future.
You can then go to "myFavs" and select "myLists" and find your list. Once again, you can easily click and add all your items to your basket again.
Does this answer your question? We're all about saving time and money, so thank you for sharing your thoughts and feedback
1. If you save a basket as a list, the quantities are not saved. The qualities will be reset to zero as soon as you place the order.
2. Past orders reflect what you ordered last or on a previous occasion, not what you want to order on a regular basis.
All the major online supermarkets (Asda, Tesco, Ocado, Waitrose) now have the ability to save lists with quantities. Tesco used to think like you that past orders were good enough. But they finally realised that they were losing out on big regular orders and added the facility.
Ocado and Waitrose have particularly good implementations if you want to try them out. They allow adding a specified quantity of a product to a shopping list from the product page, as well as creating lists with saved quantities from shopping baskets.
If you think of in in real life terms it just makes sense. If you have a regular monthly shopping list it doesn't say "nuts, cornflakes" it says 2 packets of nuts, 3 packets of cornflakes.
Hopefully it can be added to the wish list, and if it is, can this explanation be appended perhaps, as the things I diuscuss above are frequently misunderstood
By the way if you have a group of users that come up with ideas for your site, or test it, I would be happy to participate.
Best wishes
Mike
