The camera icon has now disappeared on the android app!

I have scanned you a copy of yesterdays receipt.

I am STILL waiting for ANY cashback to be paid to me - my 1st shop was done as soon as I realised app was available.

I have sent numerous emails with scanned receipts but still nothing. I don't understand what is wrong with receipts from phone as I have a 5MP camera on the phone?

My relative that I told about the MSL app also has had NO cashback yet & his shops were mainly online.

I haven't had a £10 referral from him either (neither has he) He couldn't find anywhere to place link on MSM or Asda. Was told how to get to screen later but says "not now available".

Had a reply from Sara - who said there was no way of telling IF he'd placed an order!! WHY?? He had to send you what he's had from Asda showing he'd placed the order - isn't this proof enough.

Getting a bit cheesed off as both of us have placed numerous orders, often for things we wouldn't normally buy and as yet have had no money back from you, everything is still pending!

ive been using for a few weeks, told a friend about the android app, they went to get it, but the website now says it`s NOT compatible with my (and there) phone?

 

and tried to use it today and it keeps crashing

 

what has happened to it?

 

I`m on nexus4

Hi guys!

  Thanks for this thread- it's been really useful in helping us develop the app and fix the issues you are raising. We're constantly releasing updates for the app at the moment so please make sure you are using the latest version as we're fixing bugs all the time (with your help biggrin)

 

We'll keep you posted on any other app announcements here- thank you for all your help and patience! 

@codemedic The app is currently available in Beta, we'll update the FAQs when the final version is released. You can download the Beta version from the Playstore, but as you can see from this thread- we're still ironing out last minute kinks and bugs smile

Have been using the new app for a few days now. There are quite a few glitches.

Would be absolutely great if these could be ironed out.

1. It takes FOREVER on the screen before you claim to tick those tiny little boxes. They just won't tick - keep either going into price comparison or letting me know what other items are available. Anything but placing a tick in the boxes. It can take an hour to get less than 10 boxes ticked.

2. It takes so long because after you've clicked on the tick box a few times the app tends to freeze and you get 2 boxes that say the app has stopped responding - report or click OK. Click OK & it comes up again & again & again. Reporting doesn't help either. Even turning phone off and on again sometimes will not clear this - app still not responding. Frustrating - YES!

3. Camera on last screen is difficult to touch to get to work (NOT as bad as the tiny little tick boxes) but still bad.

4. Send button seems to be overwritten and you're not sure whether you've actually managed to click it or not.

Maybe you'd let us forget the tick boxes - have a BIG button to say we've bought ALL the items & we could send?? Or maybe check the numbers (for some reason it's easier to click on the + or - in the quantities) are correct & then we could send. With a send screen that isn't overwritten.

5. It's next to impossible to scan items - the scan button is almost impossible to use. Every time I tried to use it in-store I failed & I've only been able to use it a total of 3 times - out of the hundreds of times I've tried to get it to work. Works fine IF you can click on it.

It's NOT always possible to check which items you should be buying. eg. In Asda I wanted to buy some of the Gastro Basa. Asda had 3 Basa varieties on sale. It says on the app. Basa lightly (lightly what?) NONE of the BASA said this. I see when I'm on the computer it's obvious - on the app it isn't! the packaging says "2 Sea Salt and Cracked Black Pepper Dusted Basa Fillets. NONE of the Basa says 'lightly'. Relying on the app alone was a mistake - so I missed out on buying this!

There are more items on the app on the mobile than there are online - why?

I've added a poll & hope that others will let you know of any problems they have too.

It's extremely frustrating but please don't recall it totally as it's still worthwhile having for those of us who don't have an ipod or a more expensive phone. It saves me money so I like it very much - just some glitches need ironing out. Initially I thought it was just me BUT others are having problems too.

My phone is a Huawei Y300
