I remember when you could buy a pork sausage without beef casing/collagen. Why do the supermarkets not understand that there are communities out there who do not eat pork or beef (Jewish, Hindu, Muslim, Sikh etc) Now you cant buy a pork sausage without beef or vice versa. All the supermarkets have made it impossible to buy a single meat sausage (except for the expensive butchers choice) unless you buy the expensive brands. There is a big market out there for sausages of one type. I hope other people will join me and write to the big supermarkets and manufacturers.
