I always used to shop at Tesco`s but noticed the prices were going up and decided to shop else where and since last November i have been shopping at ASDA as i find that in my case goods are much cheaper i can get my usual shopping for approxiamately half the price i paid at Tesco Swansea.Asda is just down the road from where i live at Morriston so i don`t have to go into Swansea.

Tesco make me laugh with their price changes. It is annoying when your favourites increase in price, but as I do all my shopping online it's easy for me to keep an eye on prices.  I alway trawl through pages and pages of Tesco's Everyday own brands and some prices are amazingly cheap one week only to be greatly increased the next time I shop.  For instance, I paid just 4p for a tin of mushy peas just before Christmas.  They were no different to pricier brands in taste, so I decided to order more the next time, only to find they were then 12p - still a great price, but now they are 24p.  Still comparable to main brands but annoying to us mushy pea lovers!

Their shampoo, handwash, bubble bath can be rock bottom prices too, just keep an eye out for price changes.  I got a Tesco sandwich maker for £4.50 - basic but does the job.

Do try shopping online, it's great having everything delivered to your door and you can buy a month's worth of groceries to keep you going during this awful weather.  Take advantage of all the New Customer discounts.  Ocado & Sainsbury often have a £20 discount with free delivery, but you have to spend £80 - £100.

I AM NOT SURE WHO WILL GET TO READ THIS, BUT i AM INCENSED ENOUGH TO FEEL THE NEED TO AIR MY ANGER,  FIRSTLY i LIVE IN PORT TALBOT. QUITE A SMALL TOWN IN SOUTH WALES. TODAY (11/1/2013). i WENT TO TESCO FOR A COUPLE OF ITEMS. i WANTED SOME ROAST GAMMON HAM, ABOUT A MONTH OR SO AGO THIS WAS £1.00 PER 100 GRAMMES. IN ONE HIKE THE HAM PRICE WENT UP TO £1.30 PER 100 GRAMMES, GONE ARE THE DAYS WHEN ITEMS WENT UP BY A PENNY OR 2, BUT 30 P. ON A £1 IS TOO MUCH, AS i PASSED THE COOKED CHICKEN DEPARTMENT AND i HAD MISSED LUNCH, i FANCIED A COOKED CUMBERLAND SAUSAGE, THESE HAD ALSO RECIEVED A PRICE HIKE, NOW UP TO £1.50, THIS IS THERE SECOND PRICE INCREASE RECENTLY, BUT IN THE SPACE OF LESS THAN 6 MONTHS THEY HAVE RISEN FROM £1.00, AGAIN FAR TOO MUCH OF AN INCREASE. tESCO`S beware B&M`s and home bargains, and Iceland are far more attractive places to shop. My next port of call was a local bakery, the JERSEY BAKERY which has 4 or 5 outlets in this area, my dear wife particulary likes the carrot cake slice they produce, which was before christmas retailing at (my favourite price it seems) of £1.00. not today though, £1.20, is their new price, no thanks, november price for three items, £3.00, todays price £4.00, no wonder our government leaders need such a large salary increas to keep up with this lot of robbing "£$%$^&***(().
